We would like to inform you with this update on the outbreak of COVID-19 impact for our business, as the virus has spread out seriously all over in Europe.
We have taken appropriate precautions to ensure the health of our employees and the continued operation of our company.
The employees of our three branches in Germany work alternately in teams at home or in the office to prevent infection in the entire workforce.
Due to our already digital way of working, we are well prepared to be fully operational in the home office.
The colleagues in the office ensure the operational process. So we are completely functional.
The airline industry has been hit hard with numerous flights cancelled. This has limited space and route options with the result of increased costs although, as always, Embassy act in the best interests of our customers for cost control and risk management.
Ocean routes have also been affected with container equipment shortages, blank sailings, and space restrictions. Embassy offices use their allocations from the North European ports to manage bookings so that our customers can ship their cargo without restriction.
We will keep you up to date on further developments on our website.
