The ‘System of monitoring of road transport of goods’ – SENT is being discussed in the Polish Parliament and may be a solution for the VAT fraud.
The following will be implemented on May 1st 2017.
SENT reference number
For certain types of cargo a notification will have to be created in the SENT system.
The system will then issue you an application number, which should then be used for road, air and ocean shipments.
Specific Cargo Types
The types of cargo a SENT reference number is required for, include, but are not limited to certain types of oil and acid, and cargo classified with the following HS codes:
- 3403
- 2710
- 2905
- 2707
- 2917
- 3824
- 3826
- 2207
- 3811
